The Original 38
Bach Flower EssencesDr. Edward Bach spent the better part of the 1930s wandering through the English countryside, picking flowers, and developing a system of emotional healing that has outlasted every wellness trend to follow it. The 38 Bach Original Flower Remedies each correspond to a specific emotional state, from the vague dread that Aspen addresses to the self-doubt that Larch was made for. No two essences do the same job, and the system is deliberately complete. Bach himself said so and then stopped at 38.
The preparation methods have not changed since Dr. Bach established them. The sun method involves floating flower heads on spring water in direct sunlight. The boiling method handles the woodier specimens. Both produce mother tinctures that get diluted and preserved in grape-based brandy. The result is gentle enough for the whole family (pets included, and yes, there is research on that) and has been trusted across 66 countries for nearly a century.
This collection includes every individual flower essence we carry, from Agrimony (the one for people who pretend everything is fine while internally composing their resignation letter) to Willow (for when life feels personally unfair, like the universe has a vendetta). You will also find multi-packs here for the essences you go through faster than you expected, which tends to happen once you realize how well they work.
Each 20mL dropper bottle lasts approximately three weeks at the standard dosage of four drops, four times daily. They can be taken directly on the tongue, added to water, or combined into a personal blend of up to seven essences using the empty mixing bottle available in our Kits and Extras collection. No conflicts, no buildup, no known side effects beyond a sudden urge to tell people about flower essences at dinner parties.
