Sun Ten was founded in 1946 in Taipei by Hong-yen Hsu, who took two-thousand-year-old Chinese herbal formulas and figured out how to concentrate them five-to-one in pharmaceutical-grade granules and capsules. The formulas are still classical (Yu Ping Feng San, Xiao Yao San, Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang) but the manufacturing runs through PIC/S GMP facilities with fingerprint chromatography on every batch.
