I used to collect trading cards. I still do, but I used to, too. This Disney Lorcana Winterspell display brings you 288 cards of pure Disney magic (that's 24 packs times 12 cards, for those keeping track at home).

What You Get

Twenty-four booster packs. Each pack has twelve cards. I like my math simple. That's 288 total cards of Disney characters doing things they probably never did in the movies. But in a good way.

The Winterspell set is like Disney, but with snow. And magic. Well, more magic than usual. You know what I mean.

Perfect for Collectors

Some people collect stamps. Some people collect coins. I think collecting Disney Lorcana cards is better because you can actually play with them. Try playing a game with stamps. It doesn't work. Trust me, I've tried.

Each booster pack is a mystery. You don't know what you're gonna get. It's like a surprise party, but for your deck. And nobody has to clean up afterwards.

Ages 8 and Up

They say this is for ages 8 and up. I think that's because 7-year-olds might try to eat the cards. But I'm not a doctor. Or a parent. I'm just a guy who knows things about trading cards.

The artwork is really good. Like, really good. Disney characters have never looked so... strategic. Is that a word? It is now.

Display Box Convenience

This comes as a display box. That means all 24 packs are together, like a family reunion but with less arguing and more foil cards. You can open them all at once, or save some for later. I recommend the latter, but I understand if you can't help yourself.

The box itself is nice. You could probably use it to store other things after you open all the packs. Like more cards. Or sandwiches. Though I wouldn't recommend storing sandwiches and cards together.

Disney Magic Meets Strategy

It's Disney characters, but they're in a card game. Mickey Mouse might be on the same team as Elsa. That would never happen in real life. Well, Disney life. You know what I mean.

The game is actually pretty fun. It's like chess, but with more singing and fewer horses. Though there might be horses in the cards. I haven't checked every single one.
