A warm sesame oil blend built for the one dosha that never sits still.
Vata is the Ayurvedic dosha in charge of movement, which sounds great until you realize movement also means dryness, cold hands, and a nervous system that won't stop checking its phone. This organic massage oil is made to calm that whole situation down. It's a sesame oil base infused with grounding botanicals like calamus, vetiver, and ashwagandha, the kind of ingredients that have been rubbed on humans for a few thousand years before anyone thought to put them in a bottle with a pump.
What It's Actually For
You warm it up (the oil, not the dosha, though I guess both), you rub it into your skin, and you let it sit there doing its job while you wonder why you never did this before. It's a traditional Ayurvedic self-massage oil, meant for daily use as part of a routine called abhyanga, which is just a fancy word for "oil yourself before you get in the shower." It's one step. The step is oil.
- Supports skin hydration and nourishment, especially for dry or rough skin texture
- Promotes a sense of calm and groundedness as part of a daily self-care ritual
- Helps maintain healthy-looking, supple skin with regular use
- Supports relaxation and a grounded mood when massaged in before bed or after a shower
- Made with certified organic sesame oil and traditional Ayurvedic herbs
The Ingredients Aren't Shy
Calamus root, bala, spikenard, cardamom, a little ginger for warmth. None of these are mystery words on a label designed to confuse you. They're plants that have been used in Ayurveda for exactly this purpose, which is more than I can say for half the stuff in my medicine cabinet. The oil itself is organic sesame, which is naturally warming, and that matters here because Vata runs cold the way some people run late, constantly and without explanation.
How Much You Get
This is the 4oz bottle, which is not a lot of oil if you're trying to deep-condition a Labrador, but it's plenty for a daily self-massage routine, since you're using a small amount each time and your skin isn't actually that big once you stop counting it in square feet.
Massage a small amount into skin before or after bathing, focusing on dry areas, cold extremities, or anywhere that generally feels like it's had a long week. Store it somewhere that isn't direct sunlight, because the oil is organic, not immortal.
