Host Defense - Agarikon Balanced Immune Response - 60 Vegetarian Capsules

Agarikon is a mushroom that has been famous since ancient Greece, and it took this long to get a proper capsule.

Here is the thing about Agarikon. It is not a trendy mushroom. It is not out here doing a podcast tour. This is a fungus that Hippocrates himself was writing notes about, which means it has been quietly doing its thing on old-growth conifers for a couple thousand years while everybody else was inventing marketing. Host Defense took that same Agarikon, the kind that grows slow and lives long because apparently that is just what it does, and put it into a vegetarian capsule so you do not have to go find a two-hundred-year-old tree and ask it nicely.

What It Actually Does

This formula is built to support a balanced immune response, which is a fancy way of saying it helps your immune system act like a reasonable adult instead of either sleeping through the meeting or setting the building on fire. Each capsule is made from the fruitbody of the mushroom, not just mycelium grown on a bag of rice, because Host Defense figures if you wanted rice you would buy rice. It supports the body's natural defenses and promotes overall respiratory wellness, which is a nice thing to have supported, especially by something older than most countries.

• Made from Agarikon fruitbodies, not filler mycelium biomass
• Supports a healthy, balanced immune response
• Promotes respiratory wellness
• Certified organic and grown using Host Defense's own patented mushroom farming methods
• Vegetarian capsules, 60 per bottle, no gelatin standing between you and the mushroom

Why Agarikon Specifically

Agarikon does not grow fast. It takes decades, sometimes longer, hanging out on old conifer trees like it has nowhere else to be. That slowness is kind of the point. It is not flashy, it is not a "boost" in a can, it is just a mushroom that has been quietly respected by herbalists since before written history got good at spelling. Host Defense sources it through sustainable, science-driven cultivation, so the trees stay standing and you still get the benefit, which is nice for everybody involved, especially the trees.

How To Use It

Two capsules a day is the general idea, taken with food, as part of a normal daily wellness routine. It is not a rescue flare you shoot off when things go sideways. It is more of a slow, steady, "I take this most days" kind of supplement, the same way the mushroom itself operates. No sudden moves. Just consistency, one capsule at a time, for as long as you keep buying the bottle.
