Now Foods MAGTEIN 60 VCAPS INTERNATIONAL ONLY

Magtein is magnesium that RSVPs to the brain party and actually shows up.

Most magnesium takes one look at the blood brain barrier and just gives up, like a delivery driver who can't find your apartment number. Magtein is magnesium L-threonate, which is a fancy way of saying this particular magnesium filled out the paperwork, brought a map, and made it inside. It's the same magnesium your body already needs for basic operations, just wearing a better coat.

What It Actually Does

Magnesium is involved in over 300 processes in your body, which sounds made up but isn't. It's just doing all that quietly, in the background, like a stagehand. Nobody claps for magnesium. This one supports cognitive function and mental clarity, along with the normal muscle and nerve function magnesium is known for. It also supports a calm, relaxed mood, which is nice, because most days are not calm or relaxed, they just happen to you.

• Supports cognitive function and mental clarity
• Supports healthy nerve and muscle function
• Supports a calm, relaxed mood
• Contributes to normal magnesium levels already in range
• Formulated with Magtein, a studied form of magnesium L-threonate

Why Not Just Regular Magnesium

You could take regular magnesium. It will do regular magnesium things. This one was specifically engineered to get past a barrier your body built for a reason, and it does that job instead of just standing outside it, knocking. That's the whole pitch. It's magnesium with better follow through.

How To Take It

Two vcaps, taken as directed on the label, ideally with food, ideally at a time of day you'll actually remember. I say "ideally" because I once forgot to take a vitamin for four months and just held the bottle sometimes, which does not count.

The Rest Of The Details

Sixty vegetarian capsules per bottle, no gelatin, made by NOW Foods, a company that has been making supplements since before "wellness" was a font choice on Instagram. This listing is for international customers only, which I assume means the capsules have seen more of the world than I have.

Magnesium already does a lot of quiet, unglamorous work keeping your body running normally. This version just makes sure more of it actually gets where it's supposed to go, instead of loitering in the parking lot.
