What's Inside the Softgel
Each softgel capsule is essentially a tiny vessel of evening primrose oil — nothing dramatic, just the oil and a simple capsule shell made from gelatin, glycerin, and water. Per serving you're getting 0.5 g of total fat, the bulk of which (0.4 g) is polyunsaturated fat. The headliners on the label are 350 mg of linolenic acid, 45 mg of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), and 35 mg of oleic acid. Think of GLA as the quieter, more interesting cousin in the omega-6 fatty acid family — naturally present in evening primrose oil and not especially easy to come by in a typical diet. The formula is gluten free, dairy free, and GMO free, with no proprietary blends or mystery ingredients to decode.
