Chai Xian Tang blends two time-tested herbal formulas into one traditional granule.
This is Sun Ten's version of Chai Xian Tang, which is really just Xiao Chai Hu Tang and Xiao Xian Xiong Tang deciding to move in together. Two classic combinations, one jar. Bupleurum root and Scutellaria root lead the formula, the same way they have in traditional practice for a very long time, and Sun Ten turns the whole thing into granules so you're not simmering a pot of roots on your stove like it's 1400 and you own a cauldron.
The word "granule" always sounded like something you'd find on a beach to me. This is not that. This dissolves in warm water and you drink it, which honestly feels like a small miracle every single time, mostly because I still don't understand how a powder becomes a beverage. It just does. Chemistry, presumably.
What It's Formulated to Support
- Supports healthy digestive comfort as part of a normal daily routine
- Supports a healthy inflammatory response already within the normal range of "living your life"
- Promotes general wellness and helps maintain balance in the body's normal internal rhythms
- Supports healthy liver and gallbladder function as understood in traditional formulation
None of that is a promise that this fixes a broken body. It's a formula meant to support a body that's already doing fine and would like to keep doing fine, which is really the whole philosophy behind traditional Chinese herbal combinations. You're not repairing a car here. You're just, you know, keeping the oil changed.
Why Sun Ten Specifically
Sun Ten has been making concentrated herbal granules for decades, using extraction methods that keep the ratios of the original raw-herb decoction intact instead of just eyeballing it. That matters in traditional formulation, where the combination of herbs is the whole point, not just a list of ingredients thrown into a jar because they sounded nice together. Bupleurum and Scute have been paired in classical formulas for centuries specifically because they work as a duo, and Sun Ten's manufacturing keeps that relationship intact instead of, say, putting them in the same jar and hoping they get along.
How to Use It
Mix the granules into warm water per the dosage guidance on the label, and take it consistently, the same way you'd approach anything meant to support long-term wellness instead of one dramatic overnight fix, because that's not really how traditional formulas, or bodies, or most things worth doing, actually work.
This product is intended to support the normal structure and function of a healthy body. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
