Warnings
Vitamin A acute toxicity can occur in doses > 200 mg or 660,000 IU (adults) or chronic toxicity can occur in does > 100 mg or 33,000 IU (children). Doses greater than 10,000 IU during pregnancy can be teratogenic (causing birth defects). Drug/Nutrient Interactions: The acne medicine Accutane is related to Vitamin A and should not be taken together.
