Qing Shang Fang Feng Tang Jia Yi Yi Ren, a granule with a name longer than the ingredient list
This is a traditional herbal granule blend built around Siler root and Coix seed, two ingredients that sound like they belong in a fantasy novel but are actually just... plants. Coix, by the way, is also called Job's Tears. Nobody explained to me why. I looked it up. Still don't fully get it. Moving on.
Sun Ten makes this the way traditional formulas are supposed to be made: concentrated into granules so you're not simmering bark on your stovetop like it's 1400. You mix it, it dissolves (mostly), you drink it. That's the whole ritual. No incense required, though nobody's stopping you.
What it's actually for
This formula is traditionally used to support healthy skin function and a clear, balanced complexion, especially skin that runs a little warm or reactive. It also supports the body's normal upper-body detoxification processes, which is a phrase that sounds made up until you realize your skin is doing detox work every single day whether you thank it or not.
- Supports healthy skin function and a clear, balanced complexion
- Promotes the body's natural cleansing processes in the upper body
- Supports a healthy inflammatory response at the skin level
- Made with traditionally studied herbal ingredients, granulated for actual modern humans
Siler (Fang Feng) has been used in traditional formulas for ages to support the body's natural defenses at the surface level. Coix (Yi Yi Ren) is the kind of ingredient herbalists reach for when they want to support healthy fluid balance and skin comfort without turning it into a whole production. Combined, they're doing a coordinated thing, which is more than I can say for most combinations in my life.
How to take it
Mix the granules into warm water like the label says, drink it, go about your day. It is not a lifestyle. It is a cup of granules. Treat it accordingly, and let your daily routine, and your skin, catch up over time.
Part of a normal wellness rotation, not a substitute for one. Store it somewhere dry, somewhere sane, and somewhere you'll actually remember to open it.
