Sun Ten's Shu Jing Huo Xue Tang (Bian Fang) granules support joint comfort and healthy circulation, the traditional way.

This one's got a name that translates roughly to "smooth the channels, invigorate the blood," which is either a very ancient medical concept or the most polite way anyone's ever described drinking a warm cup of granules before breakfast. It's a classic combination formula, built on Chin-chiu and Corydalis, two herbs that have been doing this job since long before anyone thought to put them in a jar with a screw-top lid. The "Bian Fang" part just means it's a variant, a remix, the herbal equivalent of the album version versus the radio edit. Same song. Slightly different mix.

Sun Ten makes these as concentrated granules, which means someone already did the boiling-for-hours part so you don't have to. You just dissolve a scoop in hot water and drink it like tea, if tea occasionally made you say "huh, that's earthy" out loud to an empty kitchen. Nobody's claiming it tastes like dessert. It tastes like a plant that means business.

What This Formula Is Traditionally Used For

  • Supports joint comfort and mobility
  • Supports healthy circulation throughout the body
  • Supports a healthy inflammatory response
  • Promotes overall musculoskeletal wellness
  • Fits easily into a daily wellness routine, no boiling required

Why Sun Ten

Sun Ten's been manufacturing traditional Chinese herbal extracts since 1946, using standardized extraction methods so the granules in this jar are consistent batch after batch. That matters more than people think. A formula is only as good as its most boring quality control step, and Sun Ten treats that step like it's the most important one in the building. It probably is.

These granules work well on their own dissolved in warm water, or mixed into another formula if your practitioner's built you a combination. Either way, it's a straightforward daily addition, not a production. You scoop it, you stir it, you drink it, you move on with your day. The herb did its ancient thing. You did your modern thing. Everybody wins, mostly quietly.

Store it somewhere cool and dry, away from direct sunlight, the same advice given to basically every dried plant material and also, weirdly, several houseplants I've personally failed to keep alive.
