Sun Ten Qing Fei Tang | Platycodon & Fritillaria Combination Tablets | 清肺湯 / Default Title

Qing Fei Tang translates to "clear the lungs" which is either the most honest name in the supplement aisle or someone in ancient China had a very literal job title. Either way, Sun Ten took a traditional formula built around Platycodon root and Fritillaria bulb and pressed it into tablets, which is nice, because chewing on a raw bulb is a whole personality trait I did not want.
What's Actually Going On Here
This is a traditional Chinese herbal combination, standardized and manufactured by Sun Ten using their concentrated extraction process, which is a fancy way of saying they did the boiling-for-hours part so you don't have to stand over a pot like some kind of herbal short order cook. Platycodon and Fritillaria have been used for generations in traditional formulas aimed at supporting healthy lung function and respiratory comfort. That's it. That's the pitch. No dramatic before-and-after, no guy in a lab coat pointing at a chart with a laser pointer he clearly bought for this photo.
- Supports healthy lung and respiratory function
- Promotes clear, comfortable breathing
- Supports the body's normal mucus and airway clearance processes
- Traditional formula, modern tablet format (no bulb-chewing required)
- Made by Sun Ten using standardized concentrated extraction
Why Tablets and Not, Like, a Bag of Roots
Because a bag of roots is a garden, not a supplement. Sun Ten takes the traditional herb combination, concentrates it, and turns it into a tablet you can take with water and move on with your day, which is the same amount of effort as taking a vitamin and considerably less effort than becoming a person who "brews things." The dosage is on the label. The ingredients are on the label. Everything you need is already there, doing its actual job, which is more than I can say for most labels.
Who This Is For
People who want daily respiratory wellness support from a formula with actual history behind it, rather than something invented last Tuesday by a marketing department. This fits into a normal daily wellness routine the same way any supplement does: consistently, with a glass of water, without a lot of ceremony. It's not a cure for anything, it's not a replacement for anything, it's a supplement that supports normal lung and airway function the way supplements are supposed to. Which, again, is the whole pitch. I told you it wasn't dramatic.
